STRATEGIC PLAN
The Wichita Falls - Wichita County Public Health District (Health District) developed and published a strategic plan in May 2016.  The purpose of the strategic plan is to present a broad picture of what the Health District plans to do and accomplish in the future; this document is an annual review and report on activities that occurred from May 2016 to September 2017. Future reports will run concurrently with the City’s fiscal year. The division heads, Assistant Director of Health, and Director of Health review the strategic plan mid-year and at the end of the year, when each division head is responsible for reporting activities for each target, including challenges. Additionally, division heads set goals for the upcoming fiscal year that are matched with the corresponding goal and strategy within the plan.  Many of those goals may not contain measurable units, as the services provided by the Health District are often citizen and incident driven and dependent; requests for services are received, responded to accordingly, and activities are tracked and reported, as appropriate. If you have any comments or concerns, please contact the Assistant Director of Health, Amy Fagan, as listed above

REPORTABLE AND NOTIFIABLE DISEASES AND CONDITIONS
It is vital that the Health Department is notified of suspected or diagnosed cases of a disease classified as a “Reportable Communicable Disease” or “Notifiable Condition.” Information on reporting can be found in this website's Communicable Disease and Disease Reporting section.
