Honor Guard

IMG_1143The Wichita Falls Police Department Honor Guard is a dedicated ceremonial unit comprised of highly trained officers who represent the department in official events, honoring tradition, professionalism, and service. The Honor Guard plays a vital role in maintaining the dignity and respect of law enforcement ceremonies by performing at memorial services, funerals, parades, and other special events.

They are tasked with presenting the national and departmental colors, performing rifle salutes, and ensuring the proper conduct of solemn occasions. These officers undergo specialized training to master precise drill and ceremony protocols, showcasing discipline and reverence in their duties.

The Honor Guard also serves as a symbol of respect and support for fallen officers, their families, and the community, reflecting the Wichita Falls Police Department’s commitment to honor and integrity. Their presence at events highlights the importance of tradition, respect for service, and the values that guide the department.
