On July 29, 2016, HOTMA was signed into law. HOTMA makes several amendments to the Housing Division's programs, including significant changes to income calculation, net family assets, and income reviews. While the full implementation date of HOTMA's changes is still currently unknown Notice PIH 2024-38 does require the Housing Division to implement some of HOTMA's requirements by July 1, 2025.
