Schedule a FREE fascinating tour of the state-of-the-art Cypress Water Treatment Plant. See the plant and meet the people who work diligently to ensure that the City of Wichita Falls has water that year after year is rated as "superior" by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
What You’ll See
People of all ages have toured the facility; students from kindergarten through college, organizations and groups including the Optimists, Boy Scouts, retirement facilities, After School Care and even our elected officials and fellow City employees. Tours last approximately 60 to 90 minutes where you’ll see the facility headquarters, labs, external storage facility, RO plant, clarifier and monitoring stations. If an on-site tour cannot be arranged, a representative from the plant will be happy to come to your group and give a presentation of the treatment process followed by a question and answer period. Tours cover a wide range of details and can be customized for your specific area of interest.
