Responsibilities of the Municipal Court Prosecutor

Represents the State of Texas in the Wichita Falls Municipal Court of Record in all criminal and civil cases, including:

• Traffic Violations in the City of Wichita Falls
• Violations of the City's Code of Ordinances
• Class C Criminal Misdemeanors

***Please be aware that citations for these offenses can be filed with the Justice of the Peace Court instead of the Municipal Court. Please check your citation for information on the court in which your citation was filed.
