Ambulances & Ambulance Franchises

The Environmental Division of the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District permits ambulances and ambulance franchises in the city of Wichita Falls.

Facilities with Children

The Environmental Health Division also conducts Daycare/Childcare Facility, Foster Home, and School Premises inspections. School Premises inspections for health and safety violations are done annually. Daycare/Childcare Facility (kitchens and pools are inspected regularly) and Foster Home inspections are conducted upon request. The Health District does NOT inspect Home Daycare/Childcare Facilities or Home Schools.

Grease Traps & Waste Haulers

The Environmental Division of the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District permits grease traps in the city of Wichita Falls. The Environmental Division of the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District does NOT permit yellow grease containers and/or recyclable grease containers. There are currently over 530 Establishments with grease traps (some have multiple grease traps).

Liquid Waste Haulers (like the one pictured left) are required to obtain a permit through the Environmental Division of the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District.
