    Children wishing to visit the library during the summer months will be able to take a bus for free to the library. Any child ages 8 and up can ride the City bus to and from the library for free. Children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult, who may also ride to the library without paying a fare. Fare cards are available for pickup at the library. Children will have the back of their fare card stamped as validation that they have visited the library. The event begins May 28th and ends August 23rd, 2019.

  9. Jacobie's Wall Mural Unveiling

    The canvas for the mural is a retaining wall at the Wichita Falls Housing Authority community on Harding Street and Holland Avenue. Guests are asked to park along Marconi Street or Holland Avenue and walk over the grassy area in front of the mural. Materials and paint supplies for this project were provided by the Wichita Falls Housing Authority.
