  2. Kemp-Monroe Phase II Drainage Project Construction Area

    September 30, 2019, 8:00 AM - November 30, 2019, 10:00 PM @ Kemp Boulevard

    As part of the Kemp-Monroe Drainage Project Phase II, a new underground drainage system is being installed. This will require the contractor to divert traffic to one side of Kemp Blvd between Ave H and Ave J. One lane of traffic Northbound and one lane of traffic Southbound will be open through the construction area. The diversion of traffic on Kemp Blvd will begin Monday, September 30th and last for two months, weather permitting. Please drive slowly and use caution when traveling in this area.

  11. Peer through the Veil: A Victorian Seance Reenactment & Kell House Haunted Tour

    Your evening will start with a 10 p.m. haunted tour of the historic Kell House. We’ll discuss the myths, legends, and stories surrounding the 110-year-old home of Frank & Lula Kell, and share some of the findings from recent investigations. Then we’ll adjourn to the dining room, where our conjuror will perform a séance similar to those conducted by early 20th Century spiritualists.
