    The latest exhibit at the Galleria at the Forum highlights the abstract expressionist work of local artist Danielle Janecek. Growing up in rural Texas immersed the artist in appreciation for the natural world which continues to this day. Working with mixed media to find the abstraction of her observations, she builds images in layers organically to find the final visual statement in each piece.

    The diabetes education classes are for individuals 18 and up with the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes. Meet for 2-hours, once a week, for a 9-week span, and cover topics such as nutrition, physical activity, complications, and more.
