Mineral Wells Photographers Dee Elliot focuses her work on the things she's loved since childhood: ranching, horses, cattle, and the natural world. Her current exhibit in the What's Up Downstairs? Gallery at the Kemp brings to life her background in horse training while highlighting her joy in observing nature, particularly birds and plant life. With over 50 photographs on view, this exhibit is rich in imagery, detail and color.
Now showing in the West End Studio: Artist Sally Struck's history in quilting is apparent in her new exhibit, "Just My Imagination". These small-scale collages and mixed media pieces are informed by the precise geometry and color manipulation of patchwork quilting, as well as a joy in sewing. The exhibit is open and free to the public during all Kemp Center business hours.
