  6. Process Art Experiences

    Children age 5 and up are invited to join WFPL staff in the activity room for fun arts and crafts. The focus will be on the creation of the art rather than the end product. Children will be encouraged to use their imaginations, flex their creativity, and experiment with the materials. Even though this is for older children, library staff will have age-appropriate activities for your toddlers to do with their parents while their siblings create.

  7. Fisher House Foundation Benefit Dance

    August 2, 2018, 1:30 PM - August 4, 2018, 6:30 PM @ Elks Lodge

    The Fisher House Foundation provides housing to the family of veterans who are hospitalized. This benefit dance will have two sessions per day and two bands per day. Afternoon sessions starting at 1:00 pm and evening at 6:30 pm. The bands to play will be Mark Fields Band, The Swing Shift, Borrowed Bandits, The Night Life, Lone Star Troubadours and Texas Boneyard.

  10. ArtZeum Summer Camp Saturdays

    Ages 6 and Up! Work on "space" themed art projects each Saturday. Create different pieces that will be included in an outdoor sculpture exhibited on the Kemp grounds. Learn to make an art project you can take home and recreate at home on your own.
