Children age 5 and up are invited to join WFPL staff in the activity room for fun arts and crafts. The focus will be on the creation of the art rather than the end product. Children will be encouraged to use their imaginations, flex their creativity, and experiment with the materials. Even though this is for older children, library staff will have age-appropriate activities for your toddlers to do with their parents while their siblings create.

Morath Orchard from Charlie will bring the Farmer's Market to Hospice of Wichita Falls front parking lot every other Friday from 7:30 am - 9:30 am, beginning May 25th. It is open to the public, so stop by and pick up some beautiful fresh fruits, vegetables and honey and help the volunteer department of Hospice at the same time. The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District is once again gearing up for Back to School immunization rush. In addition to regularly scheduled clinic hours, the Immunization Clinic is offering extended hours. The immunization clinic offers services on a walk-in basis, with no appointment needed. Everyone is encouraged to come in as soon as possible to avoid a long wait time. A current shot record is required in order to receive immunizations.
