HKRS is a five-week, nonprofit youth running program. The programs are designed to combat childhood obesity while providing children with a positive, educational and fun introduction in the world of running. The division and race distances are divided from Pre-K 2/3 yrs old- middle school, 50-yard dash - 1 mile, and everything in between. At the completion of the series, each participant receives a medal and trophies will be awarded based on total points to the top boy and girl in each age group. All runners registered for the 5-week program receive a race bag and HKRS tech shirt.

The League of Women Voters of Wichita Falls will meet for its monthly meeting. The meeting starts at noon and ends at 1:00 pm. We encourage members and visitors to go through the line at 11:30 am. Our topic this month is on Alzheimer's and the speaker is Sue Gross. Sue Gross is a 2012 MSU graduate with a Master's in Clinical Psychology and Counseling.
