  1. Healthy Kids Running Series- Wichita Falls

    March 18, 2018 - April 22, 2018 @ MSU Sikes Lake Center

    HKRS is a five-week, nonprofit youth running program. The programs are designed to combat childhood obesity while providing children with a positive, educational and fun introduction in the world of running. The division and race distances are divided from Pre-K 2/3 yrs old- middle school, 50-yard dash - 1 mile, and everything in between. At the completion of the series, each participant receives a medal and trophies will be awarded based on total points to the top boy and girl in each age group. All runners registered for the 5-week program receive a race bag and HKRS tech shirt.

    1964 musical follows the story of Dolly Gallagher Levi (strong-willed matchmaker), as she travels to Yonkers, New York, to find a match for the miserly "well-known unmarried half-a-millionaire" Horace Vandergelder. In doing so she convinces his niece, his niece's intended, and Horace's two clerks to travel to New York City.

  3. Youth Leadership Food Drive

    April 14, 2018, 8:00 AM - April 28, 2018, 5:00 PM @ Natural Grocers, Odd Duck, Stewart Title, and Pilgrim Bank

    The YSO Youth Leadership is hosting a food drive to benefit the local food bank as this year's service project. Kick-off will be April 14 at Natural Grocers. Food Collection boxes are available at Natural Grocers, Odd Duck, Stewart Title and Pilgrim Bank. All donations of non-perishable foods are encouraged. Food boxes will also be available at the Spring Concert. Help our kids help our community!

  4. First Step, Inc. : Clothesline Project

    The Clothesline Project is a display of t-shirts with heartfelt messages and illustrations created by survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault. The purpose of the Clothesline Project is to increase awareness of the impact of violence and to give survivors an avenue for breaking the silence that often surrounds crimes like sexual assault and domestic violence.

  5. Second Annual Earth Day Fair

    Earth Day Fair is a celebration of environmentally-friendly organizations local to Wichita Falls. Organized by Midwestern State's Environmental Student Organization, it seeks to promote local business and organization that are engaging in green initiatives, promoting environmental causes, and helping to preserve our beautiful planet. There will be a raffle drawing with chances to will prizes.

  6. Wichita Falls Youth Symphony Orchestra: 25th Anniversary Celebration

    April 19, 2018, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Kemp Center for the Arts

    Music, Magic, Food Live Auction including Horseshoe Bend Cellars, Fox Hill, Backdoor Theatre, The Highlander, Wichita Theatre, River Bend Nature Center, MSU, Best Western, Starbucks...and more! Magician Ron Wilson will perform table to table magic tricks. The YSO Strolling Strings will bring a live music performance to remember! A food collection box will be available as part of the YSO Youth Leadership service project. All donations on nonperishable food are welcome! Thank you for helping our kids help our community.
