The Wichita Falls City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. The meetings will be held in the Council Chambers located on the first floor of Municipal Auditorium. These meetings are open to the public and the City Council Agenda will be posted on the City Website the Friday prior to the scheduled Council meeting.

Two new series of the Diabetes Education Program will be offered from September till November. These classes are geared towards people living with the diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes. VITA is the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program that has provided free tax preparation to households at or below $64,000 this volunteer staff was able to assist over 3, 500 people last year. If you want to learn a new life skill, boost your resume, keep your mind sharp, and/or get all volunteer hours you need/want they will have 6 sessions to choose from but you must attend ALL the classes provided in that session. Join River Bend for their Prairie Program! What was life like on the Prairie in the 1800's? Read prairie stories, plant a garden, make a toy, and build a shelter!
