  4. City Council Meeting

    The Wichita Falls City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. The meetings will be held in the Council Chambers located on the first floor of Municipal Auditorium. These meetings are open to the public and the City Council Agenda will be posted on the City Website the Friday prior to the scheduled Council meeting.

  5. New Series of Diabetes Education Classes

    Two new series of the Diabetes Education Program will be offered from September till November. These classes are geared towards people living with the diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes. Classes begin Thursday, September 11 and will be offered at two separate times: 8:30 am-10:30 am & 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Space is limited! Call to reserve your spot now!

  6. VITA Tax Training Sessions for Tax Year 2018

    VITA is the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program that has provided free tax preparation to households at or below $64,000 this volunteer staff was able to assist over 3, 500 people last year. If you want to learn a new life skill, boost your resume, keep your mind sharp, and/or get all volunteer hours you need/want they will have 6 sessions to choose from but you must attend ALL the classes provided in that session.   8. Poke-Walk

    Trainers will meet at the library and will do a guided tour of their favorite downtown stops and gyms. They'll be dropping lures as they go to make sure you have plenty of pokeballs. This is an ALL AGES, ALL LEVELS walk, but children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
