    The Wichita Falls Public Library is still seeking original artwork from all local artist to celebrate their 100-year anniversary. To be eligible you must be 14 years of age and older, original paintings, drawings, photographs and mixed media on canvas will be accepted. Artwork must be able to be hung on a wall and must not exceed 24 inches by 36 inches. Submission Deadline is October 15, 2018.

  5. New Series of Diabetes Education Classes

    Two new series of the Diabetes Education Program will be offered from September till November. These classes are geared towards people living with the diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes. Classes begin Thursday, September 11 and will be offered at two separate times: 8:30 am-10:30 am & 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Space is limited! Call to reserve your spot now!

  6. Memories in the Making

    An art program for people with dementia. MiM is a weekly one-hour art session where the caregiver and loved one can take a moment to enjoy the creative release of watercolor painting. While loved one work on their painting, caregivers are there to capture any stories the art brings forward. All are welcome. No registrations necessary, just drop in.

  8. River Bend Nature Center: Here Comes the Monarchs!

    Here come the Monarchs! Join River Bend to learn all about Monarch butterflies! Learn about their migration, biology, and life cycles.
