Beginning- This study is for those who have little or no background in Sign Language. The topics will include a brief study of the history of Sign Language, manual alphabet (finger Spelling), and signs used to communicate with the hearing impaired. Ample time will be given for both receptive and expressive communication practice.
Intermediate- This study is for those who have take Sign Language, Beginning. This is a more in depth understanding and learning of Sign Language. Ample time will be given for both receptive and expressive communication practice.

This is an interactive storytime designed for toddlers ages 18 to 36 months to enjoy with their caregivers. They will use stories, flannel boards, songs, rhymes, and movement to build pre-reading skills and reinforce a variety of early learning concepts such as letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. Adults are asked to join their toddlers on the carpet as many of our songs and games are intended to be done together!
March 18, 2018 - April 22, 2018 @ MSU Sikes Lake Center
HKRS is a five-week, nonprofit youth running program. The programs are designed to combat childhood obesity while providing children with a positive, educational and fun introduction in the world of running. The division and race distances are divided from Pre-K 2/3 yrs old- middle school, 50-yard dash - 1 mile, and everything in between. At the completion of the series, each participant receives a medal and trophies will be awarded based on total points to the top boy and girl in each age group. All runners registered for the 5-week program receive a race bag and HKRS tech shirt.

Novices to connoisseurs can choose from over 44 different Texas wines to sample and craft beer tastings, all under one roof. Each guest receives a souvenir wine glass plus an official guide listing a profile of each winery at the festival and details about their offerings that day. When guests are not tasting wine, they can sample specialty beers in the Beer Corral, tap their toes to live music or learn more about wine at one of the winery booths. Select vendors will also provide a bevy of food and merchandise for purchase. At the end of the evening, cast your vote for the “Festival Favorite.”

This year’s show will also feature special guest company, 6 o’clock Dance Theatre.
